The second Erasmus+ KA220 we coordinate. €250,000. Two years. Adult education. Ongoing.

## what it is (and is becoming, since it is in progress)

A European cooperation partnership in adult education, built around the idea that deep change is constructed through *drops*: small, consistent actions integrated into the everyday life of communities. Officially launched in October 2024 and scheduled to close at the end of October 2026.

## why it matters

Two reasons.

First: this is the second KA220 we coordinate, and the first in adult education (KA220-ADU rather than KA220-YOU). Moving from youth pedagogy to adult pedagogy involves a deep reconceptualisation of method. Adults arrive with routine and resilience, but also with habits that are hard to move. The pedagogy has to be different.

Second: it consolidates our profile as an organisation that does not only participate but coordinates. After [Green Genesis Startup](project-green-genesis-startup) (€205,144), this is our second major grant as lead. Cumulatively, we have managed close to half a million euros as lead on Erasmus+, which places us in a distinct category within the Cluj cultural-NGO ecosystem.

## what we are doing

In progress. Main activities:

- Building methodologies for adult education centred on sustainability.
- Co-creating learning materials with European partners.
- Pilot workshops and activities in partner communities.
- Transnational meetings.
- Dissemination through traditional and digital channels.

## what we are learning along the way

We will fill this section in as the project advances. For now, the most notable observation from the early months is that the administrative infrastructure built for Green Genesis dramatically reduced our setup time. Reporting flows, templates, bank accounts, financial procedures: all reused. A grant leaves behind more than the project itself; it leaves an organisational capacity you can use on the next one.
